Merry Christmas!!!

Wow! Time sure has passed! I can't believe I let it go so long without posting. So without further ado I shall post!

I am very busy! Fudge season started beginning of August. So, after Christmas I'll be done for awhile! YAY!!!

Rob is busier now at market since they opened a fine furniture store in connection with the market.

I love Christmas season! The lights, colors, sounds, etc... It is such fun sharing all this with the kids, but instilling first and foremost the REAL reason for celebrating Christmas! Jesus birth! I have to laugh when were in town people will ask the kids if they are looking for santa to come and the kids are very polite, but tell the well meaning souls that santa is not real. People look rather surprised that children so small don't believe in santa. IMG_3839 Alec is 4 and is doing well in kindergarten. He has a real aptitude for learning,if you can keep his attention, which happens to be the span of a gnat! He has been reading since day 1 of kindergarten. Mia is 2 and is Alecs shadow and ever faithful side kick! She dearly loves Alec and is soo very sad if they are apart for even 10 minutes. She is all girl! From shoes, purses, hats, to anything pink. And she loves to dress up in tights, which she calls tighty pants! Ha! They both are becoming very helpful and always want to help me do stuff!  I really want to encourage this, but it seems its mostly when time is of essence and it slows me down considerable! Oh, well! At least they are helpful!IMG_3829 And oh, so sweet!IMG_3833 IMG_3828 Believe me they are NOT always so angelic!

We hope ya'll are well! And that you all have a blessed Christmas! Later, (hopefully not 7 months) Naomi

Waaaaa! I wasn't done! Anyway... Loved the zoo and the pink flamingos were conversing quite much!

Sorry for the horrible long post!! Promise you won't get another one for at least 2 months as is my time honored position!

Must run! Love to all! Robs

Greetings from our part of the world! Lots has happened since my last post! The biggest thing being Rob having Gall bladder surgery. We knew he was having problems in that area but not to what extent! He tried to do things naturally for it. No go. He went to his GP who thot maybe he was having the beginning of an ulcer and put him on medication for that. Well, normally when he would have an attack it would last for no longer then 4-5 hours. This one lasted for 48 hours before he got the right kind and amount of medication. We went into the ER on Wednesday morning and they took an ultra sound and said he definitely needed to get it removed. They sent us home with a number for a surgeon. I called this surgeon and was informed that yes he indeed would consult with us but his fee needed to be up front! $250.00 consult fee and $2,700.00 for his service. And they had to have all of it at the consult! OUCH!! Needless to say, with the help of friends we found another surgeon who needed the $150.00 only up front and would work with us on payments etc... We took the only opening they had which was 2:30 Thursday afternoon. A ll Wednesday night Rob was so miserable that he couldn't sleep or even get comfortable so he called this surgeons office and talked to the on call doc. This doc said he needs to get that thing out! So to come in to the office at 9:00 instead of 2:30. We got in finally saw the doc and he said Rob should have had it out 6 months ago! After some deliberation the surgeon got Rob admitted to the hosp. and that afternoon he finally got some relief from his pain. He didn't get his Surgery till 1:45pm on Friday. It was to only take 45 min to 1 hour if they could do it laproscopicly (sp) It got later and I got more and more nervous when finally the surgeon came out and said he had to open him up and that his gall bladder had to be carved from his liver and duodenum and that it is to be paper thin but it was as hard as a table and 3/4 in. thick and that it had gangrene but that it was contained inside the gall bladder. PTL all went well! I didn't get to see Rob for over 5 hours as they forgot to let me come back to recovery. I was a wreck! Thankfully Karen and Loren (Robs sis and hubby) were with me! Rob didn't get to come home till Monday afternoon. We thot Sunday, but both bottom parts of his lungs collapsed. We have been really blessed by the love and support of all our friends ,family ,and church family! God has been so good to us!!

Now for some pics of what you do when daddy dosen't have to work. These were taken before his surgery.IMG_2702 IMG_2702 (Sorry abou the doubles here! )IMG_2725 You go to the zoo! IMG_2687 Who dosen't like to see the animals!IMG_2712 My fave the monkeys!IMG_2680 The beautiful peacock.IMG_2678 What a curious cutie!IMG_2695 And the many many birds at our zoo! We've never done anything special, special for Valentines Day in our 6 years of marriage so this year Rob took us to Ocean City for a weekend! We went down Sat. eve. had the kiddos with us that night them Sunday afternoon we took them to Uncle Phil and Aunt Cons for a night and day. We had such a nice time!20070212_0806 20070211_0796 20070212_0815 20070212_0811 20070212_0812 We stayed at The Hilton Inn and Suites which is awesome! We would NEVER be able to do this under normal curcumstances but it being winter helped also since they weren't busy they gave us a HUGE break!!! The pictures were taken off our 5th floor balcony. Rob got up a sunrise both mornings to take pics! Me??? Not a chance! I told him I'd just enjoy his pics! We had a suite and felt quite rich. Sad to say Rob had gallbladder attacks both nights! Poor chap!!

We went out to Ohio as Dad Brunk had to have a triple bypass and were there for hours shy of a week.

The children are sprouting right up!  Hard to believe how fast they grow and some of the stuff they come up with is too good! And sometimes not so good! They love to be outside as much as possible but with us living where we do I don't trust them being outside by themselves. I'm so happy happy happy that Mia is potty trained, and happy for the fact that she did it on her own! Alec will be starting kindergarten this Sept. I'll be homeschooling him so I'm starting him in k4 abeka.

Our weather has been interesting. Some days its cool then the next very warm. We went on a bike ride today and after pulling the kids in their bike trailer I'm very glad to be off the bike! Needless to say I'm way out of shape!

Well, till another 3 months or so.... ttfn
